leveraging the multi-disciplinary knowhow and expertise in science, materials, engineering, electronics and computing technology
The HiFES mantra …
making the impossible becomes possible
Flexible Ideas in the Making. Better Things Ahead!
The HiFES Consortium
Develop disruptive cutting-edge applications for commercialization through R&D collaboration

An initiative by NUS and Faculty of Engineering to spearhead innovations in hybrid flexible electronics. It proposes system approaches to flexible electronics by integrating materials, device fabrication and design through co-design.

The mission of the HiFES program is to push the frontier of the technology to address three broad areas of application:

Smart Human Machine Interfaces and Wearables
Autonomous Robotics
Diagnostic and Medical Applications

The HiFES Research Project Leads

The research project leads consist of accomplished scientists and professors, experienced researchers and engineers in their respective fields contributing to a vibrant flexible electronic research environment and activities.
